Just Mediation Pittsburgh is excited to be working with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to prevent evictions!
WESA reports on the URA's new program to provide legal support, rental assistance, and mediation for tenants facing the threat of eviction. The goal is to keep residents in their homes and maintain stable housing in the community.
For renters living in the City of Pittsburgh, they must make 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less. Homeowners can also receive legal assistance and must be below 80% AMI to qualify.
This program will help to resolve housing disputes, especially as the eviction moratorium is set to end in June.
